Amazon Excursion in Natural Medicine and Healing: Stayed in the remote village of Jaldar along the Amazon River. Studied under both a Shaman ( a medicine man ) and Shamana ( a medicine woman ) learning about herbs/ botanicals /etc. Also included experience with several healing rituals / ceremonies.

  • Create marketing strategies including radio announcements and community relations, preparing local newspaper columns on herbal/nutritional/integrative therapies, and presenting seminars on integrative/complementary medicine and nutrient depletion for various hospitals and nurses associations including High Point Regional Hospital and Baptist Hospital affiliates.
